With the election of a new president, the real estate market should see some serious changes, for the good primarily.  So much of our economy is based from the housing market that it makes it almost impossible to ignore the current crisis.  I think we will see President Elect Obama focus on taking care of the foreclosure rates as well as the lending rates and the ability for people to get a loan.

It is still a great time to buy!  You may not get the most for your existing home if you are trying to sell, but most likely you can negotiate on the new home you are buying to make up the difference!
